El Nino Watch
Average temperature, rain and sunshine for each month of the year, per place (ERA5, 1991-2020). Lines overlay the places so seasons can be compared.
Forecasts and bulletins
Temperature: mean of daily means, with the average daily max and min available in the table view. Rain: mean monthly total in mm. Sunshine: hours of sunshine per month, computed by Open-Meteo from modelled solar radiation (not a sunshine recorder), so it can read higher than station records: use it to compare places with each other. ERA5 is a ~30 km reanalysis: it is good for comparing places, less precise for local extremes.
The charts show when each place is at its best and worst: the Samui monsoon (October-December), the Normandy winter drizzle, the Russian deep freeze (December-February).
