The Provincial Waterworks Authority publishes interruption notices per branch (pipe bursts, planned interruptions asking you to store water, 'water cannot be supplied'). The app reads the Ko Samui branch every 3 hours.
Limits. The rotation schedule and the island reservoirs' levels are not published in a machine-readable form, so they are not tracked. Local announcements on social media are not read.
A notice in force raises the water factor to 'Watch'; a 'water cannot be supplied' notice or one lasting more than 48 hours raises it to 'Prepare'. An empty list means no notice is published, not that supply is guaranteed. Notice texts stay in Thai.
Samui's supply is tight (about 16,000 m3/day available for 34,000 m3/day of demand in July 2026) and the PWA announced rotating supply from 3 August 2026.
