Heat, doubtful water and dengue (more mosquitoes with heat and rain) are the main health risks. Keep 30 days of prescription medicine.
Preparedness
Dengue is spread by Aedes mosquitoes, which breed in standing water (including stored water, so cover tanks and containers). Use repellent and nets. The WHO advises paracetamol for pain and fever, and avoiding ibuprofen and aspirin (bleeding risk).
Water: stored or trucked water can be contaminated; treat it if unsure.
Medication: keep at least 30 days of prescriptions, with the prescriptions themselves.
